1" Diamond Core Bit

This 1" diamond core bit bores clean, round holes through tile, porcelain, and stone. Grab it when a shower mixer, angle stop, or smaller supply line has to pass through a finished wall or floor without spider-cracking the surface. The 1" diameter suits common valve stems and pipe pass-throughs, keeping the cutout tight and accurate.

Run it in a drill, feed water to the bit to clear dust and control heat, and ease off the pressure so the diamond rim keeps biting. Installers keep a set of core bits on the truck because a torn-out hole around a fixture is a callback nobody wants. Tile Outlets stocks it with the rest of your bits and blades.
