Pro Series 1/4x3/16" V-Notch Trowel

This Pro Series notched trowel lays down an even bed of thinset or mastic so your tile beds flat and bonds tight. The 1/4x3/16" V-notch meters a controlled amount of adhesive — ideal for mosaics, wall tile, and lighter formats where deep square notches would only cause squeeze-out. It's a go-to for DIYers and pros setting backsplashes and small-format walls.

The V-notch shape keys the mortar into ridges that collapse evenly under the tile. Spread with the flat side, comb with the notched edge held at a consistent angle, and back-butter as needed for full coverage. The comfortable handle keeps your grip steady through a full day of setting.

Matching the notch to the tile is what separates a clean install from a callback — and Tile Outlets stocks this Pro Series trowel for exactly that job.
