Positive Weep Hole Protector PWP-106

The Positive Weep Hole Protector PWP-106 keeps the weep holes in your shower drain open so water actually drains. In a traditional mortar-bed shower, water travels down to the pan and exits through the drain's weep holes — and when mortar packs those holes shut, the pan holds water and stays wet.

Set the PWP-106 over the drain's weep holes before you pack your mortar bed. It shields the holes and creates a clear path so moisture keeps moving out instead of pooling under your tile.

Clogged weep holes are a classic cause of smelly, never-drying showers. Pros protect them on every mud job. Tile Outlets stocks the PWP-106 to keep your shower pan draining right.
